I came across samples of Evan’s drawing demos by chance while surfing Youtube, which totallyconvinced me to purchase his Drawing with Confidence DVD’s. Wow ! These DVD’s are the best drawing tutorials I have seen. Evan is great at explaining and showing you how light works, and therefore how it wraps around an object in space, how to conceptualize the construction and proportion of a head and portrait, and he even gives you tips on avoiding common mistakes and how to do things right from the start. This is an A-Z on how to capture a 3D live subject onto a 2D surface in a beautiful, intelligently-observed and artistically-rendered manner. Thanks, Evan !
